APAT WCOAP - Omaha Championship - Live Update

Join us at the London Victoria Casino, from 2.30pm on Wednesday August 27th, for live updates from the World Championship Of Amateur Poker"s Omaha Championship event.

We will be on hand to bring you chipcounts, pictures and video interviews (internet connection allowing) from the leading players in this inaugural WCOAP side event, in the lead up to the weekend"s World Amateur Poker Championship main event.

A maximum of 70 players will start this event with 7,500 chips on a 30 minute clock.

Chris Hall, Paul Garnham and Andrew Tracey are my undeducated picks for this one. Not that they"re uneducated, I meant me picking them wasn"t based on my vast knowledge of omaha or of the field, or of anything pretty much.

Welcome everyone, I"m glad to report that we are underway 2 minutes early at the Vic, with a full field of 70 runners.

The atmosphere is excellent here and the players seem genuinely excited about trying a different format for the first time on the APAT tour.
