The Welsh Amateur Poker Championship will be held at the Les Croupier Casino - Cardiff.

Date: 28th & 29th May 2011 (Saturday & Sunday)

Access: Please note that the casino is located some way from the town centre BUT they run a shuttle bus "The Casino Flyer" , daily from Westgate Street to their new premises with a 5 minute turnaround. The Shuttle starts at 7pm, 7 days a week and runs until 6am Monday - Thursday and Sundays and 4am Fridays and Saturdays.

Prices: All prices are averages based on a 3 night stay (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)...midweek prices are likely to be slightly less per night.

I'm 99% sure but Tighty hasn't officially confirmed it to me as yet

As we saw in S4 these things can change, often at the last minute....when I hear for sure, I'll update where appropriate.

In case of doubt, make a refundable booking...you can always cancel and rebook later.

I was just going to ask that question.  The casino is just a bit further out from the city centre or the bay, so there isn't an obvious hotel to stay at.

Depends on your requirements....my choice will be the Holiday Inn because I get points and I know what I'm getting.

Perhaps a few quid more...but them's the breaks.
