Friday Night before APAT Cardiff

Friday 27th May is the day before the 888poker Welsh Amateur Championship at Les Croupiers, Cardiff.

Anyone planning on arranging a Cardiff Poker Club game at the casino ?


I"m sure some of you must have contacts there and could get a private game arranged.  If so, post up some details.

That would also work.

I"m getting the train to Cardiff as it"s currently only £7 each way from Southampton, so should get into Central at about 9pm.

Don"t croups basically use all of their tables for their £15 comp on Friday night that gets loads of runners? Drinks in Cardiff FTW Obv.

Frankly...my plan wasn"t to do Les Croups on Friday night.

I"m for a night in the Westherspoons down the road from the Holiday Inn...The Gatekeeper.

It"s in the heart of "downtown" Cardiff, my glamorous assistant reports, (an ex-Cardiff Uni student).

Gotta be done...I feel.


Oh, and Leigh, it"s only 5 minutes from the station.

I haven"t been to Cardiff for quite a while and haven"t lived there for ages - but I would be pretty surprised if a Wetherspoons just off the city centre was the best you could do these days.

I don"t need the best....cheap and within easy staggering distance to the hotel were my criteria.
