Freeroll you say?  Shove, and watch them call.

In fact watch a few of them call .... including the guy with  jc 8h   :"(

Bodddders:
Let"s go back to the beginning.
MP limps, so what range do you put him on small PP, suited connectors, two picture cards, its a freeroll so really any two cards are possible. Its a GUKPT freeroll you say so is the play a lot different in this to a usual freeroll (not played one).

There are 3 hands beating you at the mo. J8, J10 & Q9 if you over bet the pot say 200 and he shoves I think you can put it down, I could but I"m a rock. If you bet the pot or less and he"s on a draw I think he will call, if he has the nuts he will call, leaving you with the same problem on the river, but with a bigger pot. I think the over pot bet gives you the info needed.

First hand of a freeroll

Everybody has 1500 chips, blinds 10,20, and you know nothing about anyone.

MP limps, SB completes and in the big blind you check with  jd ks

The pot is 60
The flop is  8d jh js

SB checks

...

--- End quote ---

...
The bet was actually 20.
MP called
SB folded

Turn:
8d jh js   th

Pot: 100
...

--- End quote ---

The bet was 20 again - MP calls.

River:
8d jh js   th  9c

Pot: 140

BB: bets 100
MP:raises to 220

Call, Raise or Fold?

Swinebag:
fold now

one of the fish has caugt a str8 or maybe a fh

even if you call the BB may reraise and where would you be then?

kinboshi:
Jon, is this limit?  What"s with the bet amounts?
