We play once a month with 12 events making up a league.  It is a deepstack tournament with rebuys for the first 2 hours (4 levels).  It took us a while to get to this and have tweeked the format a number of times.  I think it works well now and have 7 or 8 regular league players.  Each game lasts about 6 hours in general (we play on a Friday), so there is plenty of play and lots of bluffing (by me mostly).

The other home league I play in also meets once a month.  However this is based on SNG basis (blinds go up every 8 hands).  We hope to have about 5 SNGs per evening (we play on a weekday) with a grand final to be played in December.  How you do in the events leading up to December determines how many chips you start the final with.
