The A9 v 44 (i think) hand? I could talk about the hand but how hot was Liv looking in the Superman T-shirt whilst Vanessa was bitching off her fella?? ;D ;D

Speaking of Kevin MacPhee, i didnt like the way he played that 5 bet hand vs Vanessa Selbst in EPT Berlin recently. Dont know if anyone else seen it. When she explained her thinking it made great sense and when he explianed it didnt make sense at all. Anyway sorry to de-rail

Sounded to me like he was making an excuse for playing the hand rather than justifying a reason. I can understand why he 5bet with it, and his reasoning was sound up to a point - her hand was polarised, and the 5bet was a decent play to discover which polar end she was at.... however when she 6bet shoved, surely he has to see the answer to his question, and to fold? Having said that though, perhaps he saw through the answer she tried to give, and so figured that she would think he would have to see her hand polarised and at the top end, so perhaps calling was right. however if he thought that she thought that he thought that she thought he would fold, then calling might be good, but if he thought that she thought that he thought that she thought that he thought that she thought.... of feck it, these pros think too much.
Half his stack was in the middle as well - that may have had a bearing on his decision.

lol, it was a amazing situation. Probably one of the best hands i can remember watching for a while. And with so many weaker spots on the table, wonder why they got involved with each other in such a massive flip.

A speaking of vanessa selbst. OMG she is my hero. Such a brilliant mind. Anyone else watching the party poker Prem League? (sorry to de-rail again but i dont know where else to put this)
Im only half way through last heat episode and She needs to win the last heat to make the final, and everyone else is trying to ladder above Antonius, and she is picking on them to get chips, and she passes chips to Antonius ( not in a cheating way though, just by calling his all in with garbage so he can doubble up) she wants to keep him in the game so she can pick on everyone else who is waiting for him to bust out.
Amazing watching others fold KKs, QQs and AK to her because they have to outlast Antonius.
