Great festival so far, but the HORSE schedule was terrible. Level 3 in HORSE was equivalent to level 6 of Thursday"s stud event and the starting stacks were the same. Second one out and I feel I"ve wasted £55. I"m extremely tight, barely played a hand and because nothing I had held up I got effectively blinded away. Won one pot in the first level of hold em. So frustrated.
Roll on the PLO!

I spoke to a number of players at the first break as per our conversation Martin, and while they felt it was a bit fast in the opening two levels, generally they are saying its fine now. It should run ten hours, so we"ll keep an eye on it throughout.
Anyway, that aside, sorry to hear you didn"t enjoy the event - we never like to hear that - and hope you have a much better run in the PLO.

Thanks Des
I still think it is far too fast and should have matched the Stud structure - I believe it would have made very little difference to the length of the event. Anyway, you listened, and as I suggested you spoke to some other players so I can"t ask for more than that.
See you tomorrow
Martin

Very very worthy winner.
Paulie was presented with his trophy in front of a packed tv stage at Dusk Till Dawn.
Des:
"Best Poker Media Provider" winner Barry Carter.
Lucy Amos collects the "Best Member Performance" award for absent dad, David.
MarkTheShark:
Liam Alcock out in 116th place - stack crippled by his call of an all in with AQ - in fine shape against T9 - but a ten on the river left Liam with only just over 5k - he shoves from the HiJack with 89 - and runs into KK. A King on the flop and Liam is a goner.
