APAT UK Team Championship
APAT:
A team could choose to award equal prize money to each of its ten members.
A team may equally split prize money between its points scorers (top 50 finishers).
A team may split prize money as a percentage of individual points scores - where a player winning the event will receive a great deal more than a player finishing 50th, but in the same team.
There are other variations on splitting any prize money won, but we will leave this to individual teams to decide via their captains.
APAT:
The only stipulation being that any amends to the payout structure will need to be posted by the captains in the captains thread in advance of the event starting.
If there are no specific instructions, the standard payout structure will see each team member receiving an equal share of prize money.

The top three teams will be paid all of the prize money. Now there are several ways that teams may choose to split prize money received, see next post for some examples.

Ohhh...didn"t realise that. Sorry for spreading confusion.

--- Quote ---I think this is not a great idea to remove the individual prize. I mean for example, what if one player in the team gets really deep, but the rest bust out early?? That player then has nothing left to play for and it will ruin the spirit of the game IMO, they may as well just dump their chips off

For those against a team-split on winnings, why not place a bet on yourself to add some more personal value to the tournament?
I"m placing £50 e/w on myself at 125/1, this should mean I"ll get about £750 if I make final table (1/8th odds for top 9) and a nice £7k pay day if I come in 1st - this means that in the above scenario I"d still have quite a bit left to play for.
Just a thought :)

I thought about backing myself on BlueSQ - but it means that some players will be playing for more than others. If I"m 66/1 (8/1 to final), and you"re 125/1 (16/1 to final) then I"d be better off backing you or other players who are at 125/1.
