Getting There
Prague is a popular destination for UK visitors and is well served by a number of airlines.
The airport is 20 / 30 minutes from the casino (and surrounding hotels). I understand that public transport systems are well developed and easy to use.
Pretty much all my sources have mentioned that Prague taxis are notorious of long-hauling and/or finding other methods of extracting the Crowns.
For myself, I think a pre-booked taxi or shuttle is the best option. Consequently, I think I will be giving these people a spin (http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.cz/) and the cost looks decent and improves if sharing can be arranged but see comment regarding Akcent hotel shuttle.
A Bed For The Night
The official hotel of the Prague Poker Festival (which the APAT ECOAP is leading off) is The Andel"s Hotel. There is more than one hotel in the area which includes the term "Andel" so please check carefully before booking.
There are cheaper &/or closer options available for hotels though and I have indicated these on the GMap above. More than a few APAT players will be at the Akcent Hotel which is in the 7th floor (and up) of the venue itself....not only that but it"s in the area of only £40 per night including a typical european breakfast. No fry-ups here.
I see that the AKcent also offers a Shuttle service so it may be worth making enquiries direct.
I could list others but I"ve never been to Prague so please do your due diligence and check your own sources (Tripadvisor for one). Just remember that it"s probably going to be brass monkey weather with piles of snow so proximity to the venue is probably a plus.
All of the hotels shown on the GMap are within a 10 minute walk.
Any other questions, please ask and I"ll see what I can find out.

Looks competitive for a dedicated car.
I think the Taxi firm I linked is in that region for the same service.
If players attending could post their flight info I can maintain a list to see what sharing/link-up arrangements could be made.
