APAT Season 8 - Travel Tips [Bristol]

It"s also the Bristol 10K (Saturday) and 5K (Sunday) and that will definitely affect your travel plans. I went up for a tournament once before on this day and driving to the casino was a near impossibility due to the start/finish line of the race.

That might explain lack of places to stay! I"ll give it all a google and try to find out which roads are closed and from what time.

It"s not as bad as I thought, the races are taking place on the Downs and the carnival is mostly over by Portland Square which is all slightly north of the casino but I imagine parking might be hard to come by (as normal anyway!) so fair warning if you"re coming from that side of Bristol!

My intention is to 100% drive down Sat morning, (and 5% Sunday morning.)

Does anyone know if the casino has any parking of its own or arrangements with any nearby NCP"s?
