#29 reached heads-up, play continued for another four hours and 200 hands and remained heads-up. Jens Grieme and Alexander Ziskin will be back today for a few more hours. I suspect they"ll be moved off the feature final table.
Grieme actually went down to one big blind at one stage in the HU grind, but ended the session 7.8m v 5.7m.

There are 14 left in #31 Super Seniors and 16 in #32 $10k Omaha Hi-Low. Mercier is 8th, but the field is loaded - Glantz in the lead, Alaei, Brunson, Elezra, Glaser, Ramos, Deeb. Also Matthew Kelly is there in 11th place. I hadn"t realised he is a poker player.

The comeback story nearly happened. From one BB, Grieme worked his way back and into a sizeable lead, before it was snatched away. Yesterday, after slightly less than 5 hours play and 151 hands into the final table, they reached heads-up. They then played heads-up for four more hours and reached hand 367. Today they played for another hour and a half and reached hand 460. That"s over 300 hands head-up, more than twice as many hands it took to reduce from nine players to two.
At hand 457, Grieme had accumulated a 10.5m to 3m advantage and looked like winning. Then, after playing all that time, they managed to get all-in pre-flop three hands in a row, Ziskin won all three hands, and it was over in a flash.
David Vamplew finished 20th and Vinny Pahuja 29th, both racking up their sixth cash so far this year. My favourite, Lutz Klinkhammer, was 39th.
After 309 hands heads-up, the champion celebrates
