Gaming legend Robert Campbell (aka SonicJaxx) was previously ranked the #1 Pokemon Generation 1 Player in the world and is now the CEO of Neon Esports. He has been knocking on the door of a WSOP win for a while - this was his 8th final table and this year he has already finished 8th in the $1.5k DC and 5th in the $10k O8. This was a super-tough field to overcome. His heads-up was against Bach, who already has three bracelets, while Jared Blenick, another with numerous final tables, who was 7th in this event last year and 3rd in the online last week, was 3rd.
Hanh Tran won this event last year, as well as finishing 7th in the $10k 2-7 TD and winning another bracelet at the WSOPE, so it wasn't a major surprise then that, once again, he held the biggest stack of the 17 players who returned for the final day. The fairytale repeat didn't happen though and he finished 7th in the end - still a super achievement. And bracelet-winners Benny Glaser, Frankie O'Dell, Carol Fuchs and Danieal Strelitz filled four of the five spots from 10th to 14th. Anyone who outlasted all those top players in a Limit game is a worthy champion.
Only the truly great selectors identified Bach for their teams.

Well done, everyone. You really smashed the scoreboard there.
Not too many pro players near the top of this - Layne Flack was 20th. Ali Zihni, winner of the GUKPT Grand Final Mini Main, was 10th.
Runner-up was Jean Fontaine, one of the Frenchest people I have ever seen.

Adam Friedman won the 2018 $10k DC, and he only went and won it again this year. Titles have been defended successfully several times before, but it is still very rare, and getting harder all the time. It was a bit odd near the end, as two of the final three players kept choosing No Limit Holdem. Friedman is perceived as being vulnerable in NLHE, so they were playing this two-thirds of the time, as the other two chose this game exclusively for nine rounds until Matt Glantz was eliminated. Deeb then continued with it quite often, in total taking it eighteen times out of twenty-eight picks on the final table. In the end, Friedman's superior skill on the mixed games won through.
Joe gained the most points with both Deeb and Glatz on his team. How many events has he topped now?
