We nearly saw our first female winner with Thida Lin getting to heads-up, but she finished second, with Zedan taking it for El Salvador.
Razavi got close in this and has now been 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the WSOP - surely a bracelet will come? He been posting on our FB page since - perhaps he will enter a team next time?

I'm posting this result even though the event hasn't finished as this US v Russia heads-up may actually never end, with the lead going back and forth repeatedly. They are 5½ hours in and it has been marked by appalling heads-up play by Koppel, in my opinion, folding the button more often than playing it. Someone is probably counting up how many times he's done it, but it has been a lot. I saw that he folded four buttons in a row just before one of the breaks. We haven't got many points here anyway, so the sooner I can forget about this tournament, the better.
And, of course, the minute I post that, the damn thing finishes. Korenv won for Russia, if anyone cares, but I ain't rewriting this.

We've had "If you call it's gonna be all over baby." Now there's a new memorable final-hand phrase. Nicholas Howard reraised all-in on the River and Cazayous made the call, leading to Howard saying "You're going to win the tournament with that call”, before tabling his cards. There were a few bracelet-holders on the final, led by Upeshka De Silva in 3rd, with his fifth cash of this Series. I was delighted to see one of my new favourite players Ping Liu again finishing high, while a former favourite Craig McCorkell also cashed and Griffin Benger checked his privilege in 32nd.
