How could someone fold this
hi_am_chris:
Another thing thats similar, anyone notice in general live players in local low buy in tournys are much more likely to lay a hand down with 3 to 1 or better pot odds then in any online tourny?

don"t even talk to me about local casino low-buy ins..... the standard is that bad that i still haven"t worked out how to play them yet! there was a guy last night, played one hand. an hour in he raises from an early position i chuck my kj in the muck like a bullet, a guy goes all in another guy calls all-in and of course the mega tight origional raiser calls.
the original raiser has kk surprise surprise
the first all-in has aj off
and the 2nd all-in has a2!!!! unreal
i think after my ramblings they don"t have a clue about starting values, never mind pot odds!

abc poker , no fancy plays , bet the living daylights when you hit good , dont try to figure out a donkey , be patient , play better starting hands , try to see cheap flops with position with hands that hit big and if not you can easily lay down eg - suited connecters 45+ , pairs 22 to 99 , suited aces and throw in some 1 gap connecters.
NEVER SLOW PLAY big pairs pre-flop ..
Above all else you will have to learn to handle bad beats as they willl happen more often against bad players BUT playing abc will ensure you will be the victor more times than not in these donk fests.
there you go its worked out for you , now just have the patience and discipline to carry it out.

chat box folk start asking "what you waiting on?" and "call"

Very much out of order imo.
