Heading to the Vic tonight to play some cash ...

Also looks like by sporadic home game will come back on force Feb 25th which is very plesaing.

Maybe I should just play games of chance ...
Blackjack to kill some time ... +£200 play £10 a hand ... ridiculous run ...
Poker ... straight vs flush ... KK in the straddle raiser before me ... I re-raise ... not quite enough to chase the raiser away ... flop is 467 ish ... I bet out they push all in ... I call ... they hold 66 ... the number of the BEAST ...
I guess I should have said it was £1/£2 straddle for £4 ... initial raise to £12 ... I re-raise to £30 ... they are playing £140 ... I have them covered ... once the flat call is made hand plays itself ... we were six handed at the time.
Nice of the Vic to give us a private table ... 5% rake ... max £10 ... might be the way forward ...
Anyway ... I clawed me way back to a minor £14 loss on the poker ... +£186 on the night ... as they headed for the craps tables and I headed home ...

However the weekend has arrived ... I even got some rake back ... smile.
In a mega mix up - I am due to be "filming" a TV game show (pilot) tomorrow ... errr 8.30am start ... about an hour a way ... sigh ...
Oh how I remember the days of Going for Gold ... and Henry Kelly ... the Eurovision song contest of quiz shows ... (I failed to get through the audition ... perhaps my personality was not wooden enough??)
I think if I was reincarnated as a tree ... I would choose the cherry ... if that how it works?

I could have escaped a massive hand ... 6 of spades turn me the low flush ... but I refused to believe the re-raise ... pocket sixes for the full house ...
Earlier I got involved with A6s ... by the turn it is x7AA ... and the money must go in ... vs A8 ... low card and I am out ... mmm
I hate it when poker runs come to end ...
Work to do Sunday morning ... and a ten course Chinese feast tonight ... seems a bit over the top ... will it be ten great courses ... if so I eat FTW.
Last night we went to Rodizio Rico at the o2 ... Brazilian ... meat feast ... grab a salad and then sit at your table whilst the waiters bring you endless meat ... a walking cavery though the meat probably a bit better than average ... some of the steak was but very rare and excellent ...
Poker ... poker ... where is the poker ... I think next up will be the $400k g"tee GSOP 1 next Sunday ...
... well if you exclude the absurd Coin Flip qualifier to Seville - step 3 is tonight at 6.50pm - $200+10 ticket for currently two $5k packages ... all players are all in every hand until we reach the qualifiers - ten seated ... mmm

(I was still +$78 - but I like to think of a cash session as a story - I raised every hand with a smile and just as the monster came over the hill with the re-pop ... I failed to notice the Juggernautic Lorry behind it ... flush on the river ... Good night Vienna ... cue Ultravox ... off to bed ...
