The GSOP just runs too late - albeit very tempting!

WCOOP 60 - I think I will play the 3pm kick off : 3am to bed is not is disaster if I am lucky enough to make day 2.

What a dramatic last 20 minutes !

So assuming that the Argies do the necessary, Scotland have to beat England by about 40 points - is that right ?  :o

As I understand the bonus points rule Scotland would have to score 4 tries or more and win by more than 7 points - it is not going to happen ... (but they could in theory win 20-12 with 4 unconverted tries and knock England out) ...

Scotland blew it today - so many errors in the first half - and pathetic tackling at the end as their player danced through ... super annoying ... surely the conditions favoured us ... with similar conditions I would expect it to be close versus England but Cueto/Foden/Ashton/Tuiliga have too munch punch ...

Today felt very like the Scotland 6 England 9 - 1991 World Cup game - albeit Scotland had a much better team then - I dropped two pints of beer that day - one hit the ground so square that the liquid flumed up and hit me in the face.

Scotland have lacked any real explosive powers out wide for a long time - galling to watch.

Not enjoying Andy Robinson comments - 30 seconds of madness cost us - weak - 12 turnovers in the first half cost us - get the basic right and capitalise when you have the chance - don"t leave it to a coin flip etc ...

Totally agree with your take on it, we were sluggish at best against a very ordinary Argentina team who got way too much respect. We should"ve kept the ball better and had more meaningful drives. Poor kicking and a poor performance punished us in the end.

We"re having our Glasgow Live event on Saturday and a few of the team are planning a liquid breakfast beforehand in Walkabout to watch this. I fear sad humiliation tbh so will probably just accept a longer lie-in, maybe just watch it on the box before heading out to the poker game.

Played a pretty odd £1/£1 game at the VIC last night.

Table seemed to be a spill off table with generally no good players on it - lots of people arriving with micro stacks on the spin up ...

I was pretty card racked up so pretty quickly +£400 where I stayed before the epic £40 taxi home ... pleasing entree to the weekend.
