Honeybadg:
Super sleepy ... so I will keep powder dry for a bigger field ...

Have backed Dundee United to beat Hibs (Half Time/Full Time) ... would be a good way to get the day rolling.

I have punted Ryan Bailey to win the 100m - 24/1 is nuts given his run in the heats (9.88s) - probably chop the downside for the final.

Could be a very close finish - with Blake at 95% - if that is true how does he beat Blake who can run 9.75s?

I had Blake for 100m at the worlds at big odds when Bolt false started (under pressure) ... whoop whoop ...

Honeybadg:
Hibs suitably dreadful - could/should have been much more than 3-0 ... so sitting on a £2k free-roll on Ryan Bailey (for the day) ... looking forward to the semi-finals at 7.45pm.

It"s annoying me that I think Blake will win by the tiniest of margins ... say 0.05 ... holding off the "fast finishers" ...

Hopefully Bailey can upset Bolt in the Semi Finals and I can take profits.

Honeybadg:
Bolt back to jogging 9.87s ... oh dear ... great to see ... but bad for my "value" bet ... annoying that Bailey couldn"t re-run his 9.88 and put the tiniest bit of pressure on Usain.

Looks like it will be three men under 9.80s in the final - maybe all 8 under 10s??

Latest odds on Betfair
Bolt 1.34
Blake 4.9
Gatlin 25
Gay 90
Bailey 240
Powell 370

Bolt much more on odds for the Worlds - perhaps a bad start required.

If I look at it now it"s a no bet - maybe some "value" on Gatlin - but it"s all feeling like betting on a bad start ...

Honeybadg:
I think it is true to say my last online hand of poker was on 20/6/2012 ... I am not really sure why?
The desire has diminished ...
... conversely the desire to play face to face has increased ...
That should equate to playing the Fox main event today - but it will have to wait a month - lazy day then off to Scotland for a few weeks away from the madding crowd of London.

The Olympics have been weird - I have enjoyed it but the enjoyment has been somewhat reduced by the BBC"s coverage and their tunnel vision - and also their inclusion of Gary Lineker as a presenter.

All the Bolt stuff bores me to death - the other night he ran the same time as Michael Johnson did 16 years ago - he"s great but Blake can beat him and may take his 200m world record.

David Rudisha breaks the 800m world record and it"s all about Bolt ... yawn ... living legend or boring legend ...

I enjoyed the total hockey of Holland beating GB 9-2 ...

The atheltics Super Saturday was great - would love Farah to double up tonight.
He is joint favourite with "Dejen Gebremeskel" on Betfair - there might be some value elsewhere??

Pondering.

Honeybadg:
Farah is the King ... he touch 4/1 in running ... which I missed ... sigh!

Grabbed Savinova in the Women"s 800m ... ridiculous 7/2 ... won at a canter ...

No betting opportunities in the 400m relay ... just a procession ...

Well unless I bet on Ukraine to beat Britain (GB were 1.25).

Men 100m relay - odds on for the world record - 1.57 - They should subject to baton changes ...

The forecast Jamaica/USA is short enough at 1.27 - given dodgy batons - I need to be laying this I think ...
