No poker today.
Had a fascinating conversation with the guy who does my garden ... or rather who should be doing my garden ... I met him a mile from my house.
Highlights.
They are 250 types of bees.
"We should build a bridge between Silloth and Southerness ... this would be six miles across the Solway Firth(the sea) ... but would save drivers going to Ireland 84 miles ..."
The part in between is but a daze ... but I like this idea of building this bridge ...
I am sure it would cost less than the millemium dome ... and surely be much more useful ...
I love people with random thoughts - ideas - and a grander sense of who they are.
I also discovered a Swallow"s nest on my balcony ... which is pretty cool ... weird how city life can alienate you from nature ... I might start a wildlife diary ... as is the tradition.
I also arranged an appointment to buy a fresh sea trout tomorrow morning - which is very pleasing.

And this Louis is why you play poker, so as not to have days like that. ;D
Hope your weekend is profitable.

I should have added that I placed my Terracotta Lions outside my house to welcome my girlfriend from London.
I also have two mini wasps nests - perhaps dormant.
In terms of my wildlife diary - perhaps I should mention the foxes which used to live in my garden in Walthamstow.
Scottish Online will my first poker of the weekend ... hopefully a Scottish winner!

Pimms for lunch the ideal prep" for poker in the evening.
I find it strange that Pimms suggest putting orange in a jug of Pimms is optimal.
I would expect the blueberry to be a better option ...
Time to have a go at New Zealand beating Pakistan at cricket ... just under even money ... looks good to me.

The Umer Gul express has spoiled my happiness ... great bowling though ...
RT +$1,304 ... my bid to get back to zero gathering pace!
APAT starting badly ... though I think two good folds!?!

RT +$1,249
30th of 92 in the APAT event.
Pushed AK into AA.
Same player had given me the big blind special when I had limped with 66 flop 454 ... BB ... Q4
Made good folds in the first hour - well I think they were.
Maybe miss played an AQ ... which could have either chipped me up or killed me ... cost me very little ... and no risk ... in the 25 BB range ... mmm ... a chance to press fire missed ... sometimes when you fire top pair is way not enough!
Overall a slightly weak preformance ... but not escape at the end.
