Honeybadg:
RT -$440

Final table 3rd place at the start but everyone in play. (But only 11BBs)

TT UTG I flatted and missed.

QQ raised and took the blinds.

AQ in big blind has to call the late position K6 push ... and off course K6 becomes two pairs.

Next hand TJo loses to 47o ... 10 minute levels feeling more like a turbo.

10th from 953 ... but feeling like a defeat.

Cheers mate - just cannot get over the line!

Got a stack - looked to kill short stacks - lost all the 40/60 shots.

Then AQ vs K6 for the chip lead with 9 left ... and riverred.

Bottom line is - this was always a concern with the tournament - so I cannot really complain.

Feeling a bit more creative on the tables at the moment which is good.

Feel like closing this year down early - it feels like I will end the year at +/- $1

What about England in the ODI"s - just nothing there.

Job done in the tests but this is looking like 0-7!

Yeah getting over the line is the killer, especially when the tourneys become major Donkaments at the end, but even the best structures tend to end in push or fold mode at the finish, and then it is about getting your chips in first and winning the races.
Cricket - Ashes were great, not quite the 2005 series, but still gripping. The one dayers well, the least said. We are very poor, particularly with the bat. Whatever you say about Pieterson, we don"t half miss him. Got tickets for the Chester le street game, think it will be all over by the time that one comes around! It also clashes with an APAT league game, so I might sell "em on! Hows that for dedication.
Playing a live local event tomorrow, pretty decent structure, really looking forward to it. If I run good you"ll hear about it, if not you wont  ;)

Honeybadg:
... need a pretty long structure to take the donk out of the endgame ... or more creative play (I think I will work on that).

The end of the Poker Million and Sunday Warm up feature better poker - though I guess that means aiming at c$200+ buy in tournaments.

The $50k/$45k g"tee on I-poker is a shovefest at the end ($50 re-buy - average c$130)

Looking at the $1m g"tee - lots of the sats are turbo strucutres which is annoying.

All this said - no matter the structure you need to win your races when they matter. (Avoiding races - by stealing more another thing to work on.)

Cricket : Bopara - wrong answer : Not sure about Owais Shah - though his strategy to take Denly out of contention surely GENIUS.

Feel for Strauss - what can he do??
