I"m guessing that the Grosvenor casinos usually operate in isolation to each other and this could be their first time in working together on a co-ordinated event. So I am not that surprised with the reaction that is being reported from the various sites and I am certain that as we progress through the season, these teething problems will be ironed out.
I went to the Vic yesterday to complete the membership paperwork and find out about registration and bought my seat while I was there.

Fair play for getting a seat in advance, but for those of us not able to get to the casino before the event it seems a little unfair.
Again congrats on getting your seat, but surely this cant be right.

Don"t think i"ll go the Vic if theyre already selling seats :-\ Makes it much more likely il just go to Brighton, is the Grosvenor near the Rendezous?

It is wrong for one casino to sell seats in advance when the members have been told that they are only available on the day. The point of the original post was to point out another of the inconsistencies that are being experienced with the first Regional event. The task for APAT and the Grosvenor management going forward is to resolve them so that all members get the same excellent experience irrespective of which venue they attend. I have faith in Des that this will happen.
thacker:
imo there is no fair way of registering.Even the old way wasnt fair if you have a slow broadband connection you would be last if 300 people went for it at once.ITs everyman for himself.Use your head to try and get a seat. ???
nosey-p:
Have I read that right! You have bought your seat for Saturday already? ???
They don't go on sale till Saturday (don't they?)
I can see me turning up at Manchester at 12.00 for when the doors open and not get a seat
Des can we have a ruling on this
