I mangled a hand last night, you"ve inspired me to post a thread about it.  It"ll be interesting to know what others think about it.

Marty719:
Well, I think I was the same as every1 else in that as soon as I finished reading it I thot it was a pretty str8 forward fold (given the prior info esp).

I think there r however rare times when we still have the best hand.  Our flop check mite lead him to believe that a Kx hand is good and he is raising for value.  Also, once the "spewy" utg player flats, it also does look like a perfect chance for a thinking player to pick up sum dead £ and he knows that utg prevents us continuing w/out a big hand.

I still think given how deep we r that it is a pass.  Personally, im leading 2/3 pot on flop and prob not folding to a raise!

IMO This is a crying fold, and a kick yourself around the room for not C-betting. I"d be thinking trips probably 8"s/9"s, but as posted you can"t continue without a big hand and TPTK just doesn"t qualify in this situation with spewy still to answer, looking for a bright side, you may still get to find out if spewy stacks off to CO, at least you may get that valuable information for future ref.

;D
