I thought of checking but instead I"d thought I"d look cheeky and bet 750. He insta shoved and I called

he tabled KK for flopped set.

I wanted him to put the raise in so I could stack him if he went all in or re raise him if he min raised

I was kinda worries if I bet out he may just call hence the slightly overbet to his original bet
