Why do casinos poker tournaments play POT LIMIT not NO LIMIT

As before, without getting into the whole PL vs. NL issue

I was asked the other day why is it that Omaha is normally played Pot Limit...and I didn"t know.

I understand that Omaha is more of a drawing/odds game and that"s probably a factor but it can"t be the only one...surely? (and don"t call me Shirley). ;D

From what I"ve seen, about 50% of casino tournaments in Edinburgh are PL.  No idea why this is.

And why can"t I get to play Limit anywhere??
