Laxie:
Definitely get your run checked and buy the right shoes. I was at the doc last week after many weeks of shin pain and that"s what she suggested too. We"re off to check it out tomorrow, but do yourself a favour and get it done from the start to swerve unnecessary pain later.

You can do this! You"re a stubborn ol" goat when ya get your mind set on something and APAT already has filters in place for the days when you want to rant.  :-*

+1 to all of this  ;)  (except the snog at the end of course)

I know it"s hard to believe but I too have shed lots of weight (in the past)

Last time, I did it by the rather obvious method of eating less and doing more. Gym three or four times a week, ate fruit instead of chocolate and avoided the obvious things like chips and such.
Getting yourself into the routine of Running or going to the Gym is doubly good IMO cos it ratchets up the impact and the motivation.

Oh, and give up alcohol, it is doubly bad for dieters because not only does it change the way you metabolise food it also makes a pizza or kebab seem like a good idea.

Thanks for all the advice guys :)

So, am getting some new shiny scales today, so my first official weigh-in will be tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow will be interesting as it"s my day off which usually consists of sitting on my arse and eating lots!

Mother Ward has decided to join me akin trying to lose a few pounds which will be good as we can keep each other going.
