Where is my medal?

(1/4) > >>

ThePiranha:
Hi, i came first in the walsall qualifier for the uk championship in manchester, so i email the support team telling them i wont be able to make it as i am busy that day. The competition takes place and they deal out all of the medals for the qualifiers but i hear nothing from the support team.

As well as this i email them telling them i wont be able to make it so i presume that my tournament buyin will be refunded. But i have heard nothing, i have emailed them 3 times now and still nothing.

Help Please

APAT:
With the OnLive and Regional events taking place the weekend after the UK event, we have not got to refunds or medals yet.  All emails are responded to but they may have been classified as spam by your service provider.  Please remember that it was your choice not to attend Manchester and collect your medal, so you will have to be patient while we get to your despatch.

Jon MW:
Any ETA on the seat refunds for those who couldn"t play?

Or does it depend which of the different methods of payment are chosen?

If it does make a difference, what is the quickest refund method likely to be?

(I don"t want to change mine from cheque, but in future it might make a difference if I know whether a different type is quicker)

APAT:
The quickest type will always be direct to a visa credit or debit card when the seat was purchased via direct buy in.

All cheques need two signatories and that takes additional time to organise.  There is considerable work involved in this area, which is why it can drag on; particularly when there are other events in and around the same time.

From the Welsh event onwards I am seriously considering offerning a credit for a seat at the next / future event to all players who cancel.  This would become a condition of entry and cut our financial management and related costs considerably.

Swinebag:
like this idea

Tourney credits - makes perfect sense for regional winners who cant make it
