Did a league draft last night and came up with the following team.  Picked no 10 from a 14 man league

Payton Manning
Jamaal Charles
Danny Amendola
Wes Welker
Vernon Davis
Anquan Boldin
Matt Bryan
Pitttsburgh

Bench:
Joe Flacco
Kenny Britt
Pierre Thomas
Knowshon Moreno

Nice pick up of Charles at 10 there mate - as said before i think hes primed for a huge season and have him at #3 in the RBs overall - only behind AP and Foster. So to get him at 10 is very good. You must have looked to lock up Manning with your second pick? Must admit my drafts have usuall gone RB/RB/WR first three levels and been happy to get someone like Matt Ryan, Cam Newton or even Kaepernick/Wilson/Romo somewhere around round 5 or 6. Britt is a nice option to have on your bench.

My league is playing slightly different to norm, in that starters are, QB, RB, 2x WR, 1xTE 1x TE/WR/RB,  K, DEF

Take it thats Yahoo?

Yes, Yahoo.  Not the worst start for my team last night...

I"ve been a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers since I was about 14, so a long, long, time ago now!.

It"s fair to say they"ve had better starts to the season (being 0-3 so far) but on Sunday I"ll fulfill a lifelong ambition to see them play live. Can"t wait! :)

I did previously see San Fran vs Washington Redskins, way back in the early 90"s. But that was just an exhibition game, so not the same. This"ll be my first real live game.

As long as Adrian Petersen runs for 200 yards and 5 TD"s I will be happy.

that is a good offer - the Broncos have an outstanding chance - my preseason tip of a Bengals v Seahawks SB looking very good though - wouldnt change that at the moment.

Dolphins - worst 3-0 team EVER!!!

I know feck all about American Football. The only game I"ve watched was in Vegas and the side entertainment and free food that evening "might" have been the reason for going / staying.

Anywhoo as I"m always up for a punt I put £25 on Dolphins to win this super bowl thing as they had first dibs on some one at the start of the season before anyone else who was pretty good.. or something.. feck knows.. before it all started at 38 on Betfair.. hoping they"d get off to a good start and lay off as usual for a little beer money.. however I"m told by the Stockton Rock that they"ve won 3 out of 3

This is confirmed on here by Dann.. however.. I checked the latest odds and they"re now 44 on Betfair. Worse than before it all started.. and they"re undeated. WTF?

Dolphins - worst 3-0 team EVER!!!

i fully expect them to get walloped this week when they visit New Orleans - the Browns, Colts and Falcons isnt the easiest of starts, but its not like they have won all 3 convincingly and much tougher games lie ahead - they will come back to the pack very soon

Dolphins have a reasonable chance of winning their division. This is due to the fact that the usual AFC East winner, New England Patriots, are terrible this season.  The other 2 teams in the AFC East, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, are always terrible.  So, Dolphins to win the division by default.
Phil TC: Suggest you look to lay off Miami on Betfair just before the playoffs (end of December).
