WCOAP 'Passport' Packages Up For Grabs

APAT has teamed up with Betfair and Poker Player Magazine to bring you an amazing opportunity to play up to five events at the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP), which takes place at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham from August 26-30.

Over the next two months there are four £750 "passports" up for grabs, which will gain you entry into up to five events as well as covering your travel and accommodation expenses.  And even if you don"t win one of the tourneys, there are still £150 main event packages for players finishing second to fourth.  Get Stuck In.

Ways To Qualify

Event 1

July 14th - NLHE (Short Handed)
Buy-in - Free
Password - See July"s Poker Player Magazine
1st Prize - £750 Passport to WCOAP
2nd-4th - £150 Main Event Package (£100 WCOAP seat + £50 expenses)

Event 2

July 21st - PLO
Buy-in - $1
Password - See July"s Poker Player Magazine
1st Prize - £750 Passport to WCOAP
2nd-4th - £150 Main Event Package (£100 WCOAP seat + £50 expenses)

Event 3

August 9th - 5 Card Stud
Buy-in - Free
Password - See August"s Poker Player Magazine
1st Prize - £750 Passport to WCOAP
2nd-4th - £150 Main Event Package (£100 WCOAP seat + £50 expenses)

Event 4

August 16th - NLHE
Buy-in - $1
Password - See August"s Poker Player Magazine
1st Prize - £750 Passport to WCOAP
2nd-4th - £150 Main Event Package (£100 WCOAP seat + £50 expenses)


How To Enter

If you haven"t got a Betfair Poker account, click on the link from the APAT homepage and download the software.  Then open a real money account.

Launch the poker client, go to the "Tournaments" section and find the "PokerPlayer WCOAP tournament".  Register for this month"s events using the passwords available in Poker Player Magazine.

Will we be required to de-reg if we have already paid for a day 1a or 1b, as per other Betfair Satellites?

As far as I am aware, no you won"t.  Betfair will manually enter the succesful players into the events.  If you already have a seat in the holding tank, then Betfair will let you know whether you can just unregister or if they will do that for you and credit your account.

These tournaments won"t be linked to the holding tanks, so you WILL NOT need to unregister from a holding tank to be able to play them.

It"s a Betfair promo, so I"d register for the satellite, then see how many cards you get.   ;D
