Was struggling at Royal Ascot all week but was able to get out in profit for the week with a 337/1 double on the final day (Society Rock & Fox Hunt).

Great racing all week and set up some cracking clashes for the rest of the season (canford vs. frankel, await the dawn vs. workforce et al...)

Bring on the July meeting at Newmarket!!!

Just the one bet for me today - NEWCASTLE 3:05 - La Vecchia Scuola.... - x
out of form is the negative, a single figure draw on ground he prefers today is a positive though, plus he has a trainer with a habit of picking up the odd big handicap with big price outsiders [Nanton in the zetland cup @25/1 back in May].. La Vecchia Scuola runs off 94 today, same as when he came 2nd in the ceasarewitch last year.. all in all seems worth a speculative punt imho..

Eclipse day at Sandown;

Should be a top Group 1 contest, Workforce is very good but love the trends in this race for beaten horses in the prince of wales at royal ascot.  So You Think finished 2nd well clear of Sri Putan and has to be the selection.  Fillies have a bad record in the race so cant have Snow Fairy after a long layoff.  Not much of a price at 10/11 but will be including in the saturday yankee.
