Close friend, trainer and true horsemen passed away today after a battle against leukemia. So hopeful after a bone marrow donation but it"s a hell of disease.

Most succesful german horse trainer til his death today with 2069 victories. All time number 3 now behind legend Heinz Jentzsch and Bruno Schuetz. Uwe Stoltefuss, 3 times flat and 7 times hurdle champion trainer in germany passed away age 57.

Uwe, I"m so thankful to spend a lot of years as a owner at your stable, your friendly support at any time and fun in and offside the race course and friendship. I"ll miss you!

My Granddad remembers his horse Mondrian Achim, probably because he had a few quid on in the Von Baden back in 89 and 90 [him and Paul Coles Ibn Bey used to have a battle]

Mondrian was a world class horse and won 7 Gr. 1 races and two times beaten by Ibn Bey. Will always be connected with my friend Uwe.
