Well done Stuart. Finally, in your poker life, you win something that required real skill to win. Now you know where you have been going wrong!

See you in Bolton!

Thanks Rich, lets just hope I get the same luck in Bolton.

Really chuffed to be representing APAT again.

Well done Stuart, a deserved spot on the team - Amanda and I will be in Bolton regardless of whether I make the team or not, supporting and/or helping out etc.. so see you there.

are u pming those chosen first?

hope not - sweating the reveal thread much more fun imo

Depends if u make it or not!

nah either way it"s better.  if i make it then it"ll be a nice surprise, if i don"t it"ll still be good to be around to congratulate the team as they"re announced.  If I know they"ve already been PM"d beforehand I probably won"t bother sitting on the thread :D

Gotta love the ability to eek some Degen value from a Team selection announcement, respect!!

On the thread, the team will get posted in the team section quickly enough anyway.

Still trying to think of something amusing to write in this bit.

Not wanting to give too much away having x-rayed the winners envelope, but Epic could be correct.  ::) ;D

I think it"s most probable that that"s how rodders did it i.e. the list of names given to leigh/tighty didn"t include the chosen few. i.e. Stuart is a genuine random.

If not, and Stuart was pencilled in for the team, then the random pick should be repeated IMO (otherwise it would be the same as 7 picks + rodders and no random).

kinda does him an injustice - reckon he would have been in the team on merit as opposed to randomness

I may be wrong but I think Steve included everyone in the random draw and then picked his selections from those left.

If so that"s the wrong way around IMO.

Congrats Stu on making the team - so good to have a presence from last years team to pass on some secrets of success and help defend the title. Best of Luck.
