APAT Weekend Schedule Of Events

Players are NOT required to register for this event at the venue - we have pre-registered all players and the table draw / seating plan has been completed in advance and is available HERE - therefore, all players' chip stacks will go into play at the start of the event, whether you are in your seat or not, and when not in your seat you will be blinded out.  However, we ask that you please be seated 5 minutes prior to the event advertised start time, which is 14:30.

The weekend schedule of events is as follows:

Fri 28th Nov:

20:00 - Venue Event £25+£5 NLHE Freezeout, 20k Stack, £2k Guaranteed, No re-entries, Late registration until 10:15pm.  Maximum capacity 150 but if the tournament is full players will be guaranteed a seat as long as they have registered before 10:15pm (and players then have the choice to withdraw when a seat becomes available to them if it reaches level 8 or beyond).

Sat 29th Nov:

14:30-02:30 Main Event: APAT UK Team Championship (NLHE) (Day 1) £50+£5 per person (33 teams x 8 players each = 264)

20:00- APAT NLHE Side Event - £25+£5

Sun 30th Nov:

12:00- Main Event: APAT UK Team Championship (Day 2)

13:00- APAT PLO Side Event - £25+£5

The Main Event Tournament Structure can be found HERE - the 02:30 finishing time is an estimate which will be confirmed late on Saturday evening - breaks are usually after every 3 levels, and a "split" dinner break will take place after L6 (50% of tables will proceed to the dinner break after L6 whilst the other 50% play on through L7 - then they will change over).

APAT UK Team NLHE/PLO Tournament Side Events

Players must register/buy-in for these events at the venue poker room cash desk from 18:00 on Saturday for the NLH Side Event being played at 20:00 that night, and from 20:00 on Saturday for the PLO Side Event being played at 13:00 on Sunday.  You are advised that these Side Events may be subject to a maximum player capacity, with alternates and max 1 re-entry up to the first break.  Alternates/Late Entry will have priority over Re-entry.

Multi-tabling is NOT allowed, consequently, no player still in the UK Team Championship Main Event can buy-in to any side event before their exit from the Main Event.

The poker room runs a High Hand Jackpot on the NLH cash tables.  This involves £1 from each pot £25 or more plus the company standard of 5% rake capped at £5.  A straight flush is worth 10% of the Jackpot (capped at £250) and a Royal Flush will see ALL NLH cash game players paid.  Currently the Jackpot is circa £12k and expected to approach £30k if it is not won by the time of our event.  The poker room also runs the usual array of cash games including Dealer's Choice and Omaha.

The winner(s) of the Main Event, the UK Team Championship, will be:

Team - highest combined scores from all team member finishing positions (1st = 100, 2nd = 99.... 100th = 1)

Individual - finishing position

The Top 3 teams and Top 20 Individuals will be paid on a 50/50 split of buyins as follows:

Top 3 Teams (50% of buyins = £6,600) - 1st=£3,600 - 2nd=£1,800, 3rd = 20% £1,200 - payouts will be made to Team Captains.

The default APAT prize structure (individual) can be found HERE= £6,600 - payouts will be made to winning individuals.

This event DOES award APAT Medals - top 3 teams and top 3 individuals.

Each side event prize pool breakdown will be confirmed at the venue after the event has closed for further entries.

APAT Main Events do NOT allow deals to be made, and Side Event deals are only allowed under the control and rules of APAT.

The winner of the UK Amateur Poker Championship will win an "added value" main event seat at the WCOAP, where the main event winner will win the trip of a lifetime to Las Vegas in the summer of 2015.

Season 8 Ranking Points will be awarded as per HERE
