MintTrav:
#17 and #18 currently heads-up, #19 down to thirteen players and #20 down to the last ten.

Loads of results and points later.

The leaderboard after #16 stands at:

Great work John.. I must say I prefer the new scoring system as it only takes a result or 2 to completely change the state of running. Will hold the interest of those who perhaps are 20-30 points adrift of top spot.

In other news I"m top of the blonde fantasy poker game #thin..

I couldn"t see anyone in #1. Do you have someone in mind?

The Colossus - yes, I really must check that one some time..........

Event 17: $1,000 No Limit Hold'em

Runners          2242Paid          337Final Table          9

Player          Position          Points          David Stones          37                    Craig McCorkell          98          1

Selector          PointsPaxo          1

Another point for McCorkell and Paxo. Paxo always backs McCorkell, due to the Portsmouth connection. Together, they are trying to win this competition one point at a time. Such a pity there only 69 events.

Here"s an odd thing - both of the heads-up players made their first ever WSOP cashes today.

In fact:
The winner made his first WSOP cash today.
The second-placed player made his first WSOP cash today.
The fourth player made his first WSOP cash today.
The sixth player made his second (cashed in this event two years ago).
The seventh-placed player made his first ever WSOP cash today.

This is the winner, Chase Bianchi.
There might be creatures living in that beard.
Chase is 28 years old. Why do young men grow unattractive long beards like this? Why? Why?
