Wouldn"t it get annoying having to break your own arm all the time? ;)

Good one ... Are you in London today ... I am snowed under and ill ... so no poker for me I am afraid ... well unless it is the $50+4 re-buy on Betfair??

Scotland 3/10 in Lichenstein has to be one of the worst bets ever ...

I would so love to go to Poland/Ukraine to watch Scotland and I think Scotland might scrape home tonight but the odds are shocking ...

Very nearly sold my Ireland bet in the Rugby this morning ... Wales were mighty ... Ireland ... mini ... Wales won easily playing 8 out of 10 ...

Hard to see France betting them - England were attrocious in the first half today - decent in the second half.

I remember being in Tokyo years ago with a Welsh Friend when Wales won the Grand Slam for the first time in ages ... this time we will be in Sydney whilst the final is being played ... would be a great omen ... that was a good night in Tokyo!

Sunday Warm up ... exit TT vs 66 aipf ... sigh ...

Didn"t play well - but you need that to stand up.

Just about a poker free zone for the last three weeks ...

First big holiday for 2+ years : Sydney - Melbourne - Kuala Lumpur : Sweet

Melbourne drew me to the Crown for one mini cash session.

It"s a pleasing card room - and interesting cash games - I played on a $2/$3 Turbo table.

Max sit down an odd $200, only 30 seconds to act.

I lost $26 including charges ... the classic table with a lot of easy money but it all went to one player who card racked it from $180 to $1280 is about 40 minutes ...

It all started with a flopped straight versus a guy who thought he had a house - in fact the classic three pairs - what an epic donation - actually to someone else but he then spewed the rest of his $400 stack to the rack.

It makes me think of the Aussie Millions - perhaps not too realistic calendar-wise.

It also makes me think of playing more cash games.

Fox Club only 35 mins on the tube from home - they have been plugging their "Big Game" - £2/5 - capped rake at £5 a hand ...

I am back in the UK on November 1st - London Calling event on Saturday/Sunday - £500+40 - 20,000 chips - 45 minutes - let"s see where my sleep pattern lies??

2012 looks like being less poker - higher stakes - great mixture - volatility maximiser.

I was thinking about money today ...

... which led me to the following:

"With the extension of sterling to Ireland in 1825, the Bank of Ireland began issuing sterling notes, later followed by other Irish banks. These notes included the unusual denominations of 30/- and £3."

I am pretty keen to get hold of a £3 note ...
