Tales of the Honeybadger
Honeybadg:
... we run bad ... Beaton finding some annoyingly good scoring to couple with appalling finishing ... his opponents has darts for both the first two sets ... but ultimately provided no effective pressure ... value bet dies ...
Outright Prices are amazing too ...
Raymond Van B 8.6/1 following a 108.31 average ... tempting ...
Gary Anderson 13/1 - fells pretty spicy too ...
Robert Thornton 54/1 - value
Feeling like I should have an economy 2013 ... out with a bang??
Honeybadg:
Lost some money on Thornton ... Taylor is there for the taking ... albeit he hit the doubles well the other night ...
Back to the poker table tonight with a 96th of 1267 in the Big $109 on Pokerstars ... exit hand 66 vs AK ... standard/hard to complain ... won a race earlier ... long series of random numbers ... need 1111000 and not 10101010 ... as often said before ...

Honeybadg:
Sunday Warm Up - 97th of 3446 - Was running pretty good - got to 2nd of 687 - was down to 21st of 97 - but still 40BB ... Big stack makes a standard late position raise ... short stack shoves for c12BB ... I shove all in with AQs ... straight into the Big Stack KK and short stack JJ ... needing to be (hyper) passive to avoid this smash up ... was running for the win ... won 2 from 3 of my value added races earleir ... was looking for another ... would have been a great time to find a savage Ace for the chip lead ... by the river I also have a 4 for the straight ... but no joy ... if I had lost the straight race then 28 BB ... earlier the Big Stack got going with a KTo 4 bet (all in) which was called by 99 ... flop KKx ...
Annoying way to go ... but much better than a drift to middle of the pack ...
Last poker of the year!
I think I will play the Betfair Live in London - $650 - guess 300 runners over two day 1"s - Jan 25-27th at the Aspers casino ...
See what other savage gardens I can find??

Honeybadg:
Aspers Casino ... managed to play about ten hands of £1/1 before getting bored ... easy table but patience required ... armed with an absurdly strong gin I wondered off to play Blackjack ... got to about +£300 ... before edging back to +£150 ... wandered off to play Roulette ... downwards initially ... but hit two 8/1 shots in a row to peak at +£1150 for the night ... starting playing £25 on single numbers (no joy) before tapping out at +£900 on the night ... net of the taxi home for a plus £855 ... and some ammo for tonight.
Targets : $320 Super-Saturday Knockout & Big $109 - 6pm kick offs ... Time to win!
