Registering for APAT on day of play?
Ivydrive:
just found the answer on another thread to my first question. still not sure about the seat though...
FlyingPig73:
My understanding of it is, you get prize money split up as per normal if you finish in the top 10%. You are also guatanteed a seat in the National tournament if you finish in the top 10%. If you finish in the top 3, you get a medal.
My guess is you would pay for the seat in the national (assuming you finish in the top 10%) via a payment link setup on the APAT website.

The Regional events are acting as satellites into the National events. the 10% times £75 will come from the prize pool. The remainder of the prize pool will be awarded to the top 10% of finishers as prize money.

John, That is what I was alluding to. Sorry if it never came across like that.
Like the online satelites, if you finish in the top 10% you are guaranteed £75 (the entry fee) at least, and the extra money over will be split up via some arrangement. You will still have to pay for the seat via payment from the APAT site, I think.
Jon MW:
Thanks for the clarification - to me it sounded like your first post suggested that the National seat didn"t come out of the prize pool
