Sunday saw Matchday 2 in the APAT Premier League. The teams continue to battle it out on Grosvenor Poker Online across 7 matchdays, with the top teams from the four conferences then playing for over £4,000 of live tournament seats in the Grand Final at the end of January 2018.

FPG Team 2, UTFB Dragons, Trump Cards and ACE Poker League all made it two wins out of two, with FPG Team 2 remaining the top scoring team of the whole league after their 112-88 win against 3 Men and A Lady.

TEAM FISO HANG OF FOR VICTORY IN THE DIAMOND CONFERENCE

Team FISO had a bit of a sweat on, watching the remaining Deez Nuts player finally get eliminated just short of the points required to overhaul their 81pts tally. Wins also for Hitsquad Majors and Yorkshire’s White Roses saw then keep their 100% records, with Punters Lounge Poker Club getting off the mark with a 115-46 win over Pompey Warriors.

BIG POTATOES & SH*T DETECTIVE REMAIN UNBEATEN IN THE HEART CONFERENCE

Big Potatoes continued their impress run, with Joby ‘MrCucumber’ Plunkett going one place better than his skipper and took down Matchday 2 to help secure a 132-14 win against Irish Wolfhounds.

Sh*t detective also made it two wins out of two, even with just two players against the full complement from The Black Country Poker Club. Current Premier League champions Quad Jokers got off the mark and Team Spawn overcame Suicide Squad 26-15 in one of the lowest scoring matches of the league so far.

THE CHIPS DON’T LIE IN THE SPADE CONFERENCE

The Chips Don’t Lie – Shakira Shakira, remain the only team unbeaten in the Spade Conference, with Odds n Sods unfortunately still without a win. This is looking like the tightest conference of the league so far.
