UK Team Championship 13/14 Jan 2024 @ DTD
APAT next return to live action with our ever-popular UK Team Championship over the weekend of Friday 12th January 2024 at the home of UK poker, Dusk Till Dawn.
Whilst we will host side event action throughout the weekend, the Main Event will play out on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th.
UK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 – TEAM APPLICATIONS
The UK Team Championship is an invitation only event, and interested poker clubs, forums, societies, leagues, groups and communities etc need to register interest in entering a team by the deadline Saturday 2nd December 2023 via any of the following means:

In the event of teams being oversubscribed, a ballot with a reserve waiting list will be held.
Team Captains need to confirm their team member names by Sun 10th December 2023 at the latest (direct to myself).
Teams consist of 8 players each who will compete for both a team and an individual prize pool in the UK Team Championship, which will be run as a regular 2-Day MTT and entry is £100 + £20 per player – THE COMPLETE TEAM BUY-IN will be required to be paid in advance by Friday 5th January 2024 at the latest by each player via Luxon.com, or in-person at DTD and coordinated between myself and all Team Captains.
The total prize pool will be paid out on a 75/25 basis to the top 5 teams and the top 15 individual players from the MTT, with the top 3 teams winning the coveted APAT Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, along with the top 3 individuals.
Points will be scored based on individual player finishing positions, and will start to be earned on Day 2 by all remaining players on a ‘reverse position’ scoring eg 100th wins 1 point, 1st wins 100 points.
As usual, teams are to wear their own matching colour team shirts for both days of the event – if desired, printed team t-shirts or polo shirts are available via APAT for £15 per t-shirt or £18 per polo shirt, which includes the APAT logo and UK Team Championship event details and team name printed on the front with any further team graphic or logo tbc.
This event always sees huge demand, and we are expecting similar interest this year – it is usually over subscribed and therefore competing teams are decided by ballot – DO NOT BOOK HOTEL ROOMS WHEN SUBMITTING TEAM APPLICATIONS – SADLY NOT ALL TEAMS WILL SURVIVE THE BALLOT AND GET TO COMPETE.
- The event has also on occasion previously suffered from “team last minute dropouts”, and therefore, as we did previously, we will again retain a reserve list and any team not meeting the buy-in deadline of 5th January (all 8 members) will have their team entry offered to teams on the reserve list.
The UK Team Championship is an OPEN event – ie open to ANY poker player, and the weekend supporting events are open to ANY individual player whether they play in the UK Team Championship or not.
