UK Team Championship 2023 – Competing Teams

The UK Team Championship returns Saturday 25th – Sunday 26th February 2023 at the home of UK poker, Dusk Till Dawn with the following teams competing for glory:

The UK Team Championship is an invitation only event, and whilst we hugely appreciate and thank all teams for applying, with the event over-subscribed our sincere apologies to those who were unsuccessful in the ballot as inevitably we cannot include everyone – although we do continue to work to see if we can have any further uplift in numbers – if you wish to be included on the list please contact me asap.

Successful Team Captains need to confirm their team member names by Fri 23rd December 2022 at the latest (direct to myself).

Teams consist of 8 players each who will compete for both a team and an individual prize pool from the 2-Day MTT with the entry fee of £100 + £20 per player required to be paid in advance  by Sunday 15th January 2023 at the latest – payment will be via Luxon Pay with details to follow – with the total prize pool paid out to the top teams / top 9 individual players from the MTT, with the top 3 teams winning the coveted APAT Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, along with the top 3 individuals.

Points will be scored based on individual player finishing positions, and will start to be earned on Day 2 by all remaining players on a ‘reverse position’ scoring eg 75th wins 1 point, 1st wins 75 points.

As usual, teams are to wear their own matching colour team shirts for both days of the event – if desired, printed team t-shirts or polo shirts are available via APAT for £15 per t-shirt or £18 per polo shirt, which includes the APAT logo and UK Team Championship event details printed on the front breast, and team name and logo printed on the other front breast – further graphics and logos etc are all possible to be printed anywhere on the shirt but may attract an additional cost depending on requirements.

The UK Team Championship is an OPEN event – ie open to ANY poker player, and the weekend supporting events are open to ANY individual player whether they play in the UK Team Championship or not.

Further detailed information on payment of buy-ins, weekend schedule of events, structures etc will follow prior to Christmas.
